The licenses grant you access to a number of seats. A seat is defined as a specific user on a specific workstation. For example, if you buy a one-seat license, you'll be able to activate ShareGate Desktop for one user on one computer only. However, the license can be transferred from one user to another (see this how to guide on our blog).
Note: The software is linked to the machine that it is activated on, so you must deactivate it before re-imaging or performing configuration changes such as changing the machine name or domain. This stops the software from recognizing the machine as a new one. If you forget to do this, you won't be able to activate the license again since it will think that it is already activated on another machine.
The End User License and Maintenance Agreement can be found directly on the website.
